Your evil laughter resounds through the world, Tannhauser. You gotta tone it down a bit.

    Thanks.
I was in the hospital so havent been able to post much. Jiang Zhe is quite cruel but I agree with his decision to not inform the minister of Li An lust for his wife. Xia makes a good scheming partner.

Suiyun is rather carefree about the lives of others. I honestly don't want to see Li Xi'an die.
Oh little correction: Li An glanced at the Prince of Yong, worried that they would fall out because of this reason.
    Should be "Prince of Qi".

Hey, i want to ask something... This is not a spoiler one, just a historical knowledge...

If i recall correctly southern chu is in the south of china, then where is the kingdom of shu and yong then?

My knowledge of chinese history is only from reading kingdom manga, so it was a bit lacking...

And how large is the southern chu in this novel compared to kingdom manga? And how large is Yong and Shu (and if possible. Han)?

    actually the events of this novel take place hundreds of years (300-400 years after) after the kingdom manga;
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_Taizong_of_Tang (second prince of yong)
i think this is where Great Yong originated https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiyuan
and this is the great yong empire; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tang_dynasty
and this should be the southern chu; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhou_dynasty_(690–705)

And also, are you serious it was Zhou dinasty? The picture says that it was tang dinasty...

Just a guess I can't be really sure but it existed for 15 years which coincidentally is if I'm not incorrect where the southern Chu king after the fall of shu declared himself emperor and until yong conquered it... still just a guess... also suggest looking at https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Dynasties_and_Ten_Kingdoms_period# the picture shows where chu should have been...

Great Yong consists of the territory north of the Yangtze River and south of the Great Wall.

Southern Chu composed of all of the territory south of Yangtze River, west of Sichuan, and north of Vietnam.

    Shu is composed of Sichuan.

@Cohran, that map is from the wrong time period; some three hundred plus years after the current time setting. Plus, there's only four states existing at the start of the novel.

The closest similarity to the fictional setting of this novel would be the three kingdoms period, even if that time period is nearly three hundred years off, as well:
Wei is Great Yong, Wu is Southern Chu, Shu is Shu, Northern Han is north of the great wall
